Directions:
FROM THE SOUTH (M4):

Take junction 28 and follow the A467 and signs to Brynmawr / Abertillery. After 40 minutes you should be approaching Abertillery. On the right hand side, you will see Abertillery Tescos and then the Railway Inn on your left. Follow the yellow Abertillery Car Park signs to park and ride car park. A bus will transport you down to the Abertillery Park site.

FROM THE NORTH (Heads of the Valleys Road A465):

Take the turn-off at Brynmawr and follow the A467 and signs to Abertillery.

As you approach Abertillery, you will need to turn right at the Abertillery Traffic Lights. Follow the yellow Abertillery Car Park signs to park and ride car park. A bus will transport you down to the Abertillery Park site.

The Abertillery Blues Festival 2007 proved to be a huge success again attracting visitors from around the UK to see some of the best acts in Welsh, British and international blues.

Over 800 visitors attended last year’s event, including a wedding party of 30 who had travelled from North of England to get married at Bedwellty House in Tredegar, with the evening party at the Abertillery Blues Festival!

The Abertillery Blues Festival is now in its fourth year and will be running over two days.

Friday 18th July 2008

One of the most exciting live rhythm and blues acts in the UK, Dr Feelgood will headline the Friday evening.

Also performing the 21st Century blues man with his harrowing guitar work - Ian Parker. Voted best UK female voice for 5 separate years by Blues in Britain - Connie Lush and last but not least the distinctive and exciting music by Storm Warning.

Saturday 19th July 2008

On the Saturday evening the Robert Cray Band headlines - this Americal Blues artist rocks and wails way down to the bottom of the blues well and is unlike anything you have heard before. He has won 5 Grammy's and has performed with the likes of Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones and BB King.

Supporting Robert Cray is a fantastic line up of international Blues artists. Opening the stage the Tyler Brown Band who have been playing their individual brand of blues for the past three years. The talented American blues artist Samuel James, The Hard Travellers and last but definately not least Jon Cleary's inspiring perfomances.
